We were thrilled to host Kennedy and Dalton’s wedding at BASH, and their celebration was nothing short of magical. This sweet couple utilized our venue for both their ceremony and reception, creating a day filled with love, laughter, and personal touches.
Kennedy and Dalton, high school sweethearts who grew up in the same school district, have a heartwarming story. Dalton graduated from the Police Academy in August 2023 and became a police officer, while Kennedy graduated from Purdue in December 2023. Their history and deep connection made their wedding day even more special.
The couple fell in love with BASH for our location, flexible vendor policy, and the convenience of getting ready on site.
Their January wedding featured a clean and elegant decor theme with white and pink flowers accented by pops of greenery.
Kennedy’s crafty family played a significant role in the day’s details. Her dad surprised her by making a giant wooden cross to complement our hexagon wood arch used during the ceremony.
Faith is very important to Kennedy and Dalton, so having their Christian ceremony held under BASH’s hexagon wood arch, and the wooden cross made by Kennedy’s father made the event even more beautiful and meaningful. The couple’s commitment to their faith was further highlighted with a braiding unity ceremony, symbolizing their intertwined lives.
BASH’s in-house gold shelf was transformed into a stunning display of gluten-free desserts, thanks to Kennedy’s mom, who baked a variety of cookies, bars, and treats. The highlight however was Kennedy’s homemade wedding cake, crafted the day before the wedding—a testament to her talent and dedication!
As the ceremony concluded and after a delicious dinner from Las Tortugas was enjoyed, the dance floor came alive. It was a joy to see guests of all ages, from 2 to 90, dancing and celebrating the night away.
The evening ended perfectly with a sparkler exit, a favorite at BASH.
Kennedy and Dalton’s wedding was a testament to love, faith, and family. Their creativity and the personal touches they added made the day truly unforgettable. We are honored to have been part of their journey and wish them a lifetime of happiness.
