Alyssa & Hayden’s Elegant May Wedding at BASH in Carmel, Indiana

When it comes to planning a wedding from another state, having the right support makes all the difference. Alyssa and Hayden—an incredibly sweet couple from Michigan—chose BASH in Carmel, Indiana, as the venue for their timeless May wedding. With most of their family based in Indiana, they knew they needed a space that felt both elegant and welcoming, and BASH delivered just that.

To help bring their vision to life, the couple booked our Partial Planning package through 828 Planning. Living out of state, they wanted a trusted team who could handle the logistics, coordinate vendors, and ensure every detail was thoughtfully executed.

From the very beginning, it was clear they prioritized ease and intention. Our planning team worked closely with Alyssa and Hayden to connect them with our favorite local vendors and make planning from afar as seamless as possible.

The Design

The wedding itself was a perfect reflection of their style: simple, minimal, and timeless. Alyssa and Hayden enhanced our space with classic greenery and understated florals designed by Up in Roses, including greenery installations across our ceiling and a floral-accented ceremony arch. The fresh green touches perfectly complemented the clean white aesthetic of BASH, creating an effortlessly elegant atmosphere.

They also made use of several of our in-house decor rentals, including pipe and drape, hedge walls, photo booth, and yard games. The ceremony began with the couple walking through our white pipe and drape, which created a stunning and graceful entrance.

Special Moments

During cocktail hour, guests enjoyed a beautiful spring day on the patio, with the garage doors open and yard games in full swing. The photo booth and hedge wall provided fun opportunities for guests to snap memories throughout the evening, and their creative Polaroid guest book added a unique, interactive touch.

As the night came to a close, Alyssa and Hayden shared a sparkler exit; a crowd-favorite way to end the celebration on a magical note. The couple also kept things playful with the classic shoe game, which always brings laughter and love to the reception.

What made this day so special wasn’t just the beautiful design or the well-thought-out details. It was the fact that Alyssa and Hayden were able to gather their family—many of whom they don’t get to see often—and celebrate such an important moment together.
