Anne’s 50th birthday party at BASH was truly one for the books! Anne chose the partial planning package with our in-house team to help bring her vision to life while allowing her to fully enjoy celebrating this milestone — all while launching her own medical practice!
To create a fun, relaxed atmosphere for her guests, Anne booked both our yard game bundle and our photo booth. The yard games encouraged guests to mingle and play, while the photo booth offered an interactive way to capture memories throughout the night.
Anne selected BASH as her birthday party venue because of its ideal size and central location. But more importantly, she chose 828 Planning because she trusted us to help execute her vision flawlessly. As a busy doctor starting her own business, Anne wanted to celebrate without having to lift a finger on the day of her event — and we were thrilled to make that happen!
Her vision for the celebration was “feminine meets classy meets Restoration Hardware,” and with the help of our incredible epic vendor partners, we brought her dream to life.
About the Birthday Girl
Anne is a doctor, married to a pilot, and during our planning meetings, she often brought her sweet dog along! Although her pup didn’t attend the party itself, Anne loved that BASH is a pet-friendly venue and appreciated being able to include her dog during the planning process.
Design and Entertainment
Anne’s chosen color palette was pink and cream — with pink being her favorite color. Her decor was elegant, timeless, and a perfect reflection of her sophisticated style.
Anne’s birthday party featured a unique and memorable “toast and roast” segment. She invited a handful of close friends and family members to share lighthearted (and often hilarious) speeches, creating a heartfelt and fun way to kick off the celebration and honor Anne’s incredible journey.
Anne also brought in My Yellow Rickshaw, a lively and talented band recommended by 828 Planning. With four musicians and a diverse setlist spanning multiple decades and genres, the band kept the dance floor full all night long!
Food and Catering
Food was a major focus for Anne, and the menu didn’t disappoint! She opted for multiple interactive food stations from Sweet and Savory catering, including:
- A grilled cheese and tomato soup station
- A fajita bar
- An ice cream sundae bar
- A late-night pretzel bar
These stations were a huge hit, offering a variety of options that catered to guests of all ages. Sweet and Savory is one of our trusted epic vendors, and created a customized menu alongside 828 Planning that was as delicious as it was creative.

It was an absolute joy for our team to watch Anne relax, celebrate, and truly enjoy her special day.
